Meet Us

Hello, my name is Michelle Otten and I first started my experience with Rogy's in 1980 after I received my degree in early childhood education. I first started as a teacher, moved to Assistant Director, and then Director. I have been Director since 1985.

During my time as Director, I have thoroughly enjoyed working with each and every family. Every child deserves to have a fun, safe educational environment. I have enjoyed watching all the children grow and learn as they move to each classroom. I have two children of my own that were Rogy's children. The education they received gave them a great foundation when they started kindergarten.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family!

Hello, my name is Elissa Brown. I received an Associates of Applied Science from I.C.C. and I have decided to continue my education in the Early Childhood program. I have worked at Rogy's for over 10 years.

I am married and have 2 children. My son and daughter attended Rogy's since they were babies and are Rogy's graduates. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, watching hockey, reading, and running.

I look forward to working with the staff and all the families to provide the best quality of care and education.

Hi! My name is Amber Goldsmith. I attended East Peoria Community High School and continued my education at I.C.C.! While there, I received a certificate in early childhood education. During high school, I was also in vocational childcare! We actually toured Rogy's as a class and I instantly knew this was the center I wanted to work at! During my senior year, I started co-op at Rogy's 2008 and have been here ever since. I enjoy working with children and making a difference in their lives.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling and supporting my boyfriend doing what he and I love - dirt track racing! I also love spending as much time as I can with my family.

Hi, my name is Erin Underwood. I graduated college with my early childhood degree and I started Rogy's in December of 2011. I have enjoyed working with children for as long as I can remember. I strive everyday to make each child feel special, teach them, and help them in any way that I can.
